THE SITUATION

Organized by Sunbeam Chinese Opera Cultural, Drama Show《雷雨对日出》will be held in June at Sunbeam Theatre, North Point. Main cast of the drama include CHAN Chi-wan Stephen, YIP Tung Cecilia, CHAN Shek-sau Bill, KONG May-yee Elena. TFI was entrusted by the organizer to professionally live stream the press conference on 20th April 2017.

 

THE CHALLENGE

Typically, press conferences target mainly on traditional media. It heavily relies on the reporters to deliver the second hand information to the public. Yet, through the live streaming, audience can get the comprehensive as well as first-hand details of the event.

The Sunbeam Theatre is one of the landmark theatres to have been started by that same group of emigrants. It was established by "Hua Chang Enterprises Ltd" in 1972. In 1988 Yao-Hung, chairman of the board of "Hong Kong United Arts Entertainment Company Ltd" took over its operation. Thousands of Cantonese opera has been held in the Sunbeam Theatre. Sunbeam Chinese Opera Cultural also trained a large number of young Cantonese Opera professionals. It makes great contribution to Hong Kong local art.
