Senior Software Engineer

As our Senior Software Engineer, you take charge of multiple video encoding & streaming projects from head to toe and you lead a team to research on new technologies to thrive for the business of TFIDM. With your expertise, you lead and manage projects, develop product and process improvements, provide consultation to others and help facilitate training and development.

Responsibilities

• Specialize in Video Encoding & Streaming projects including development, enhancement, maintenance and testing
• Participate in multiple projects simultaneously
• Lead research team on R&D of new technologies on encoding and streaming for potential business opportunities

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, Engineering or related discipline
• 3 years of relevant experience as software engineer
• Strong programming knowledge in C and/or C++
• Good understanding of algorithms and/or audio & video codecs (H.264 & H.265/HeVC/MPEG4/MPEG-DASH/AAC/etc)
• Experience in media streaming/network programming/peer-to-peer protocols is an advantage
• In-depth knowledge in Video Network Infrastructure, Data Networking and Audio-Visual system and DRM is preferred
• Proficiency in English and Chinese
